Feels so good to get back to what I like to do best... light and metal. This is 12 x 12 oil. Found the little chrome doggie dish at the grocery store and had an ah ha moment!
That is marvellously well handled. Great to see. Any more like this and Ill have to start studying your work as to how I can try to paint highly reflective metal...
Very beautiful work. I love you use of colour, some of your art look like photos of things. I have put a link to your blog and my blogs so that others may experience your wonderful art.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again...I really admire (and am jealous of) your ability to capture light and reflections. It's unbelievable....that it is so believable. I like EVERYTHING about this one.
Wow! This is just stunning! How do you do that???

ReplyDeletesuzanne - thanks so much. I have a lot of shiny things sitting on the kitchen counter trying to figure out what's next.
ReplyDeleteThe others have all said it, and said it well, but I'll say it again. Wow. This is really stunning. I love it.
